O GOD, who has promised, by Thy deart Son, to be present wherever two or three are met together in Thy Name, be pleased, of Thy great mercy, to look upon thy servants, the Bishops and Pastors of Thy Church, assembled together from all parts of the world, to take counsel concerning the things of Thy Kingdom. Vouchsafe so to guide and govern their hearts and minds, by the Inspiration of Thy Holy Spirit, that they may have a right judgment in all things; that in all their thoughts, words, and works they may seek Thy honour and glory, and by wise and faithful counsels may defend Thy Holy Faith, and promote the Peace and Unity of Thy Universal Church, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O GOD, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, the Prince of Peace, give us grace seriously to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions. Take away all hatred and prejudice, and whatever else may hinder us from godly union and concord. Let not heresies and false doctrines disturb the peace of the Church, nor schisms and causeless divisions weaken it; but grant us to be of one heart and of one mind in serving Thee our God, and obeying Thy blessed Will. Grant, that as there is but one Body and one Spirit, and one hope of our calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all, so we may henceforth be all of one heart and one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and charity, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

These Prayers may also be used in Private and Family Devotions during the week.
