Economy Leaflet.

Economy

IT IS often impossible for churches nowadays to afford expensive ornaments, but it is desirable that every ornament should be of workmanship and of the right proportion to suit the building, also that the hangings, though simple, should be of good colour and design. This booklet is intended to help those who have only a limited amount to spend, but wish to be assured that everything put in the church is worthy of its purpose. Loyalty to the rubrics and canons of the Church is the guiding principle of the Guild, and those who consult them can be certain that the work supplied is a lawful ornament according to the use of the Church of England.
